Josh and Bing were going through a long and quiet wait, but then they received the news that their son, Nolan Alexander was already born and waiting for them in a neighboring state! In a very short period of time, Josh and Bing were able to build a sweet and hopefully long-lasting relationship with their birthmother. It was a long journey for Gary and Christen as they awaited their hearts' desire. Their dream finally came true when they were connected with their birthmom and welcomed their daughter Hailey. Just about one year after Amy began her journey with LifeLong, she was holding her son, Jacob Leo Wilson, in her arms! Amy adopted in 10 months and is so thankful for her amazing and courageous birthmother Lauren. Amy and Lauren had the opportunity to meet one another and build a relationship along the way. Just two months after their profile started being presented, Luis and Christopher were chosen by an expectant mother Makayla, and they began this beautiful adventure together. Luis and Christopher welcomed their daughter Mireya, and their brave birthmother Makayla was amazing throughout their journey. The three of them instantly bonded and had multiple visits and even held a gender reveal party! The special relationship they developed from March to October will forever be close to their hearts. Chris and Jeff began their adoption journey hoping to hit the ground running, and sure enough, they did! An expectant mother had chosen them early on in her pregnancy but waited until she was delivering at the hospital to call and ask the family to be present and meet her in person. Lives were all changed that day as what she thought she wanted was a closed adoption ended up being a beautiful loving relationship with the adoptive parents of her daughter, Paige. Randy and Thang experienced some heartache along the way before being matched with their birthmother Cristinna. They connected with her in June and welcomed their son on September 5. With the help of their Adoptive Parent Coordinator, Melinda, they placed 10 months into their adoption journey and their little one was worth the wait! Their birthmother Cristinna was an amazing person who they had a chance to visit with and communicate with often! Cristinna kept them updated daily on her activities and health. Eddie and Orby had a long and quiet journey for the majority of their time with us. Nearing the end of their journey they started to wonder if there was a light at the end of the tunnel when one day, it all changed. In a whirlwind, an expectant mother due in a matter of weeks chose them and before we knew it they were heading to the hospital. This strong birthmom had the support of her own mother behind her which was so valuable in this difficult time. The family had the blessing of knowing ahead of time that the C-section was scheduled, so they were able to be present for the delivery of their son, Levi, on August 2, 2018. Jackie had an unusually fast journey, but we know when the timing is right and the heart is open, miracles happen! After over a year of waiting and a disheartening failed connection, Kristen and Laura had a beautiful surprise waiting for them! Their courageous birthmother reached out to us and chose them to parent her son with just over a week to spare. It was a beautiful whirlwind to be had and on August 2, 2018, Kristen and Laura welcomed Jayden Isaiah into their hearts and lives. We are so happy for you and that all your dreams came true! Clark Matthew was welcomed by James and Brian on July 28, 2018, after quite an adventure! They traveled back and forth to the expectant mother's state and then after delivery, sweet Clark spent some time in the NICU. With the courage of the birthmother and the love and dedication by this couple, they all made it through to the end! At last, Danny and Taylor's love, little Pressley Inez, has come along! They say good things come to those who wait, but Danny and Taylor weren't expecting to have their perseverance tested to quite this degree. Through multiple failed opportunities, they remained firm in their belief that their family would grow through adoption. We are honestly in awe of the way they just kept showing up to each opportunity with hope and love. While there were definitely several moments along the way that tested them, now at their happily ever after, they know their daughter was worth the wait. Their Adoptive Parent Coordinator, Jenee, Birthmother Coordinator, Nicole, and other members of the LifeLong team are so excited to finally celebrate the joyous occasion welcoming Pressley into the world and the LifeLong family! Congratulations David and Alan on the birth of their son Samuel on July 21st! These parents had some failed opportunities before they were connected with their brave birthmother in March. They knew their baby was out there and their amazing birthmother made her way to them. Alan and David had the opportunity to develop a secure relationship with their birthmother and were anxiously awaiting the birth of their son. Lukas and Mitch were early into their journey when they matched with their expectant mother. They began to develop a relationship with her over the course of three months leading up to the big day! Julie and Aldo were a joy to work with and had a wonderful relationship with their expectant mother. The situation was a special one in that she requested we send the family a gender reveal! The relationship was mutual as they all moved forward with support and positivity. The family connected with her right away, they visited her in person, and they established a wonderful relationship leading up to delivery. Adalina Marielle

Hannah was matched with her daughter's birthmom back in April of this year. They built a wonderful relationship with one another during those months. Her birthmother delivered a healthy, beautiful baby girl, Adalina Marielle, on July 7th. After Hannah had been caring for Adalina for three days, we were given the news that her birthmother had decided to parent. Heartbroken, Hannah brought Adalina back to her birthmother and then traveled back home. A few weeks later, Hannah texted Adalina's birthmom wishing Adalina a "happy one month." That's when things changed. It was at that point this courageous and incredibly strong birthmother asked Hannah to come back to Ohio because she knew Hannah was meant to be Adalina's mom. Hannah traveled back once again, this time with a different result. It was a really long road for Hannah, with many other failed adoptions along the way, but she never gave up hope. We couldn't be more ecstatic that things worked out for her!

Jeff and Cade returned to LifeLong for their second adoption journey in 2016. After a long and quiet 22 months, they were speedily connected with their birthmother who gave birth to their beautiful son Finnegan on August 15, 2018. This amazing and patient couple had an excruciatingly long journey, but they were dedicated to their dream of becoming a family. They maintained the hope that one day their life would change. Soon enough, the birthparents that were meant to bless their lives forever called LifeLong with the news that they were considering placing their son Roman Patrick. Roman's birthparents were making this choice together. They had contacted LifeLong months prior and decided to parent, but soon after he was born, they made the brave decision that placing Roman with Chris and Danny would be for the best. Chris and Danny immediately traveled to meet Roman's birthparents and have enjoyed every moment of having Roman in their lives ever since. Congratulations Chris and Danny! A little over a year into their journey, Rob and Matt were contacted by their amazing birthmother through the LifeLong website after she had seen their profile video and felt drawn to them. We connected them, and after a few short weeks they were working through the details of making this adoption happen! The family traveled to meet with her and she enjoyed meeting them in person. Lance and Trevan were given the last-minute opportunity to work with a selfless and strong birthmother/birthfather couple right in their home state of California. Only a short distance away from this couple was a pair of birthparents who may give them the most precious gift they could even imagine. They sat on the edge of their seats waiting to hear that it was time to go. Sweet Ava was born on June 18, 2018, and this patient couple could not have been more overjoyed. With a little help from their adoptive parent coordinator, Jenee, during the long wait and their birthmother coordinator, Nicole, during the execution of the plan, this family was made complete and we were blessed to witness another miracle of adoption. Timothy and Nicholas truly experienced the unique ride of adoption. In the end, they have a beautiful story to tell and we hope their courageous birthmother knows how appreciated she is by LifeLong and this couple she chose to raise her sweet son. Timothy and Nicholas had their first birthmother opportunity 14 months into their adoption journey. They were saddened when this opportunity seemingly did not work out, however, they continued to ask about her and let us know she was still in their hearts. Four months later, this strong woman called our birthmother coordinator, Nicole, to express she was still interested in placing her baby with Timothy and Nicholas. The family was quick to get to the hospital to welcome their son, Miles Aaron, on June 9. Congratulations on your new addition!
