At LifeLong Adoptions, we have a variety of hopeful families that want to adopt. When looking for the right family for your baby, it’s important to consider and ask yourself these questions:
- Where does the adoptive family live, and is it important that they’re close?
- What are the adoptive family’s religious or spiritual beliefs?
- Does the adoptive family already have children, and if not, is it important that your newborn have siblings?
- What type of adoption do the hopeful parents want, and does that align with your wishes for how much or how little communication you’d like to have?
- Will anyone in the adoptive family be a stay-at-home parent?
- What is the family’s ethnicity?
- What are the adoptive parents’ lives like, and will they provide the opportunities I wish for my baby?
