Joshua & William

Family Type: Gay Couple
State We live in: North Carolina

dear expectant mother

We want to begin by thanking you for taking the time to consider us as prospective parents. This is never an easy time for anyone, but we hope we can demonstrate to you that we will be loving and caring parents who will give everything to your child. You will see this commitment and dedication immediately if we begin to work with you throughout this process.

We are blessed with good friends, education, jobs, and families who have supported us throughout our lives. Education is something that is also very important to both of us. Your child will have an amazing education, ensuring they are ready for any challenges they face in life.

But what is most important to us is love. We have been surrounded by love throughout our lives and cannot wait to give that love to your child. Although parenting won’t always be easy and we won’t always have the answer, we will always show unwavering love. Your child will be exposed to cultures from around the world while also learning to enjoy simple things. We will strive to instill an amazing set of values and ethics in them while also giving them a passion for learning and helping others.

Again, we want to thank you for taking the time to consider us as prospective parents. We know this is not an easy time for you, but we look forward to hearing from you and learning about your goals, dreams, and aspirations for your child.

Thank you again,
Joshua & William

We have been surrounded by love throughout our lives and cannot wait to give that love to your child.

About Us

Our families raised us with strong values, which called us to military service, with Joshua on active duty and William in the Reserves while advancing in the tech industry. We met after college, and the military brought us to our current home in North Carolina. We both are blessed by the amount of support and love we have received throughout our lives. There is no way we could have ended up where we are today without the help of others. We strive to pay the love and support we received throughout our lives forward as we work with organizations and nonprofits at the local, national, and international levels to help those in need. Traveling is very important to us, taking us across four continents and 18 countries, and we love sharing it alongside our son, showing him the beauty and diversity of the world.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is in a vibrant neighborhood buzzing with kids, close to museums, and with sporting arenas and community events. In addition to our large home, which is perfect for family visits and future sleepovers with friends and pets, we have a large backyard, swing set, inground pool, and raised garden, which are the epicenter for weekend family events. We are located an equal distance from the beach and mountains, which offer year-round adventures. Our home is located in a fantastic school district with several community-based organizations to participate in.

Our Extended Family

Family is extremely important to us. Joshua has a sister, and William has six sisters. We have four nephews and four nieces who absolutely adore our son and were extremely excited about us adopting another child. However, the ones who are most excited are our parents. They cannot wait to have another grandchild to love and spoil.

We spend the majority of the holidays with our family and extended family. With both of our parents combined having over 20 siblings, there are more cousins of all ages than we can count. As we grow our family, there will be plenty of family members for our children to grow up with.

Together, we have created several traditions we will continue as we grow our family, such as Christmas tree cutting, pumpkin picking, Easter egg hunting, annual family photos, Christmas decorating, breakfast with Santa, and making cookies for Santa, among many more. But our favorite is the yearly (at minimum) family vacation. As our children grow older, we cannot wait to include more, like family game night, parent-child dates, burying a time capsule, and planting the family garden.

Our Adoption Story

Becoming fathers has been the greatest joy of our lives. Witnessing our son’s smiles, laughter, and growth has filled our hearts and solidified our dream of starting a family. We cannot thank his birth mother enough. She made our dreams come true by entrusting us with the most wonderful little boy anyone could ask for. Her decision has brought immeasurable joy into our lives and deepened the lives of our family and friends. We have always wanted a large family and are excited how the adoption process enables us to reach this goal. We are eager to provide our son with a sibling and give another child the same boundless love, support, and devotion as we give our son.
