Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and decide if we are the right family to care for your child. We can’t imagine the decisions you have had to make along your journey and are grateful that you have arrived at the decision of adoption. We want you to know that we accept you as you are, we are grateful for the potential to be matched with you and that we will do our best to carry out the wishes and dreams that you have for your child.

Through our own struggles trying to conceive naturally and our experiences with fostering we knew adoption was the right path for us. We are overjoyed with emotion being able to participate in the process and with the opportunity to add a child/children to our family.

We want you to know that we appreciate and acknowledge that the decision to place your child for adoption likely wasn’t an easy one. We feel that adding a child to our home would be the best blessing and we hope by learning more about our family that you feel secure in your decision and hope for the future.

About Us

Hi we are Kayce and Danny and we are so grateful to continue our adoption journey. We met in 2011 through mutual friends, married in 2013 and have been enjoying our life together over the last 11 years. Whether working on our farm, traveling or spending time with others, we try to appreciate the rural-lifestyle. We would describe our personalities as caring, calm, funny, and supportive. Kayce works from home for a large healthcare organization as a financial analyst and Danny is self-employed, working on his family farm in the summer and driving a truck in the winter months. Our careers allow us to have a great deal of flexibility which supports spending time doing the things we love. When not working, we enjoy exploring different cities, visiting museums, movies, local eateries and events.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a very small rural farming community on the Eastern plains of Colorado. We love the peacefulness of being in a small town with access to large communities rather close. We live on a small farm and raise a few cows, have farm cats, and a boxer named Harley. We appreciate living in the country with the open space, safety and ability to enjoy the outdoors, camping, fishing, bonfires, riding four wheelers and enjoying friends and family in our home. We live in a community that supports each other, has great schools and is family-oriented.

Our Extended Family

We feel that we have the best extended families and support systems. Our parents, siblings and extended family, with the exception of a few, live in the surrounding communities and are very involved in our lives. Each of them brings unique experiences, support and positive aspects that we absolutely appreciate.

We have a strong family bond with both families and frequently get together with everyone. Whether it's for family meals, playing games, enjoying the outdoors in the summer or traveling as much as we are able, we love spending time with each of them. We consider our family to be our closest friends. Our families know our desire to grow our family through adoption and couldn’t be more supportive of our efforts. They are also on this journey with us and are ready to welcome a child/children.

What Led Us To Adoption

While we knew we always wanted to be parents, we didn’t know what that process would entail nor how we would get to our adoption story. We decided to start foster care because there was an overwhelming need in our community and we felt that we had the ability to help. Through foster care we became even more committed that we wanted to start our own forever family through adoption. We have fostered for seven years but having to move children out of our home was the hardest part for us. We are excited to add the joy of a child/children to our lives.
