dear expectant mother

“Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.” – Maya Angelou

What an incredible decision you are contemplating. I am in awe of the strength and courage you have shown as you decide the future for you and your child. Thank you for reading my profile as you consider making an adoption plan. It would be an honor to be your child’s adoptive mother.

My daughter, my extended family, and I would welcome them with open arms, providing them with the support and love to develop into the best they can be. I promise to give them an enriching environment where their creativity can thrive. I will provide them with encouragement when they challenge themselves and be the arms to hug them when they fail. I will teach them that the world can be tough, but love and kindness can take them far.

As their birthmother, you will always be honored. They will know what an amazing woman you are to be able to give us this gift. I am so excited to be an adoptive mother. I can’t wait to welcome you and your child into our life!

About Me

Hi! I’m Ginessa. I’m a public affairs officer, and I also do floral design on the side. I am a motivated professional who is passionate about what I do and most days work from home. My daughter, Liliana (Lily), is two years old and is so excited about being a big sister. She’s even been practicing putting her doll to bed every night. We have a really fun time together; it’s not uncommon to find us dancing in our pjs on Sunday morning while making pancakes! We have done a lot of traveling in the last two years, including Hawaii, Santa Barbara, and Texas. Our next trip will likely be to Italy, where my family is from. For fun, we like to go swimming, work in the garden, go for short hikes, or just cuddle up and watch a good movie. I love being a mom and can’t wait to be able to let Lily experience having a sibling (or two!).

My Home & Pets

Our wonderful home has plenty of room for a playset and a garden, and it even has a fenced pool and three big bedrooms. I knew I’d be growing my family, so I wanted lots of room! I’m working on getting a tire swing up soon too! It’s in a safe, quiet neighborhood where there are many kids to play with. We also have a small family cabin in the mountains that is one of our favorite places to get away. Our fur-baby, Foxy Roxy, loves to go with us for weekend getaways. She’s a sweet girl I adopted from the dog rescue where I volunteer. She has a lot of fun playing with my daughter and especially enjoys going on walks around the neighborhood, where she can sniff everything along the way.

My Extended Family

I come from a large Italian family, with three sisters and one brother. I have seven aunts and uncles and a busload of cousins. :) Most of my family lives nearby, and my younger siblings and I get together weekly for dinner or playdates. For holidays, we have extended family gatherings. Growing up, our family was known for always breaking out in song and dance on a whim, and I have tried to keep that tradition going with Liliana! My family is excited to welcome a new child into our family, and some have already offered to babysit the little one!

I believe family can also be chosen, and my friends are an important part of my life. Together we like to play board games, go camping, and have BBQs. As you can see, I have a lot of family and friends who are there for me and ready to share their love with a new child in the family.

What Led Me To Adoption

From a young age, I always knew I wanted a big family, and I was sure adoption would be part of my family story. Two years ago, I had my daughter after several years of fertility treatments, and unfortunately, my body cannot handle another pregnancy. I’m so excited to grow our little family. I know I have so much more love and compassion to give. I have everything a child would need to feel safe, supported, and loved. If we are lucky enough to have you choose us, we promise to love, cuddle, sing to, and dance with your child every moment we can.
